
Aradhya Hegde leaned her head against the airplane window, her breath fogging the glass as the sprawling city below grew larger. Mumbai, chaotic and alive, a city that never really slept, was waiting for her return. Six months in London had been an escape a way to distance herself from the overwhelming love of her family and the scars left by a relationship that had shattered her faith in love. The plane dipped lower, and her heart raced in sync with it, unsure of how to feel about coming home.
